Deep Tide TechFlow News, on August 19, according to Eleanor Terrett's disclosure, Wyoming launched the Frontier Stablecoin (FRNT), becoming the first state in the United States to issue a state-level stablecoin. This stablecoin is backed by US dollars and short-term government bonds and is currently deployed on seven blockchain networks including Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, Optimism, and Base.
Due to existing regulatory barriers, FRNT is currently not open to the public. The Executive Director of the Wyoming Stable Token Committee will provide more details about the project soon.
