BlockBeats news reports that recently, the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Henan Province released the report on the review results of the (Draft Regulations on the Management of Property Involved in Cases in Henan Province), which mentioned issues related to the disposal of virtual currencies involved in cases.

The Legal Committee of Henan Province believes that "virtual currencies have property attributes and belong to the property involved in the case. A consensus has basically formed in judicial practice. However, the trading of virtual currencies is completely prohibited in our country, and there are no legal trading platforms. How to handle virtual currencies is still being explored in various regions. The Ministry of Public Security is currently researching and formulating relevant systems for virtual currencies. The management of this new type of property involved in cases is more appropriate to be uniformly regulated at the national level, and local legislation should not make provisions." (Henan Daily)
