According to recent reports, the Thai government has launched an 18-month pilot program allowing foreign tourists to use cryptocurrencies (such as BTC, ETH) to exchange for Thai Baht for spending at local merchants, injecting vitality into promoting tourism spending and the convenience of digital payments. This policy has a daily limit of no more than 550,000 Thai Baht (approximately 17,000 USD) and is designed with anti-money laundering mechanisms in mind.
