Every cycle is like that:

  • 95% of altcoins only increase about 10–50%

  • 5% of altcoins are rare gems, capable of bringing 50x–100x

👉 So how to filter out the strong coins, ignoring the weak ones? Let's go into detail.

1. Not All Altcoins Rise or Fall the Same

In every market:

  • There is a coin showing outstanding strength

  • There is a coin that is just sluggish, even lagging behind

A common mistake is only looking at the USDT chart (price in USD) without comparing relative to BTC or other alts.

2. Classic Example: $ETH vs $SOL

To know which coin is stronger, don't analyze individually – compare directly.

  • Beginning of the bull cycle 2021–2022:

    • SOLBTC: price is right at the macro support area

    • ETHBTC: has risen high, valuation is too expensive

📌 Result: SOL breaks out strongly, while ETH is sluggish.

  • SOL: +3,857%

  • ETH: +443%

If only looking at the USD chart, you will find it hard to see this difference.

3. $XRP – 7-Year Accumulation Lesson

Many people criticize XRP as 'dead', but in reality, it is just in a huge accumulation phase.

When comparing:

  • XRPBTC & XRPETH → you will see when the price is about to explode.

📌 Lesson: forgotten coins for a long time but still have strong fundamentals often bounce back violently.

LINK/BTC has had a long sideways movement, accumulating right at the important HTF support area.

  • The price even briefly broke the support (fakeout) → then strongly rebounded.

  • This is a classic setup for a big rally.

Target: if BTC continues to accumulate, LINK can completely move towards the $50+ area.

5. Golden Rule When Filtering Coins for Altseason

Before buying, always compare crosswise:

  • Any alt: compared to BTC & ETH

  • Memecoin: compared to SOL (as the Solana ecosystem is currently the center of memecoins)

👉 Buy at HTF support area (where large pumps have originated).

👉 Avoid buying when alt has risen too far compared to BTC/ETH.

6. Summary

  • Don't buy altcoins based on emotions.

  • Always compare with BTC, ETH, or SOL to know if that coin is strong or weak.

  • Look for coins that have accumulated for a long time at the support area – those are potential candidates for x50–x100.

I will soon share a list of top altseason picks based on this method.
