Yesterday, after posting the picture of the fast-running TGE, someone asked how to authorize in advance, here’s the guide.
1. Application scenarios:
After everyone participates in the Binance Alpha section's TGE new token offering, once the event ends, the platform will send the tokens to you. When you sell the tokens, you need to authorize the wallet first before selling. But once the TGE ends, participants rush to sell. Those who run fast sell at a good price, while those who are slow sell cheaply, so everyone authorizes in advance to rush to sell immediately after the TGE event ends.
2. Advantages:
You can sell faster than those without authorization and get a good price. As shown in the picture: the fast seller sold for 453u, while the slow one only sold for 110u.
3. Operation tutorial:
Each token has its own contract address, so the contract address in the first step needs to be changed every time.
（1）Open the contract for the TGE token.
（2）Click on the 'Contract' in the menu bar above, then switch to 'Write Contract'.
（3）Click 'Connect to Web3' to connect your wallet (choose walletConnect for QR code login).
（4）Find the function: approve spender (address) fill in 0xb300000b72DEAEb607a12d5f54773D1C19c7028d (Binance Dex) value (uint256) fill in 0xffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff (unlimited amount) click Write, pay a few cents in Gas fees and the authorization is complete.
