The summit meeting of Donald Trump with European leaders in which they analyzed how to achieve peace between Russia and Ukraine has concluded, reported The Guardian.

Trump met at the White House with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymir Zelensky, the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Mark Rutte; the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen; the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer; the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni; the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb; the Federal Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz; and the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.

It was revealed that Trump indicated that he had “started” to coordinate a meeting with Zelensky and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, and asserted that Europe would provide security for Ukraine, while the United States would coordinate the same, according to Afp.

During the meeting, Trump interrupted the meeting at the White House to call his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, in an effort to reach an agreement to end the war in Ukraine.
