Metaplanet announced the purchase of 775 Bitcoin for approximately $93 million, at an average price of $120,006 per coin, increasing its total reserves to 18,888 Bitcoin as of August 18, 2025, with a total investment of about $1.94 billion.
Metaplanet is following a similar approach to MicroStrategy in terms of allocating Bitcoin as a strategic asset in treasury management.
