🥷🏻 Charles O. Parks III sentenced for cryptojacking

On August 15, a federal court in Brooklyn sentenced Charles O. Parks III, known as CP3O, to one year and one day in prison for illegal cryptojacking operations.

Parks defrauded two cloud computing service providers of over $3.5 million, mining cryptocurrency worth nearly $1 million. The court confiscated $500,000 and a Mercedes-Benz purchased with funds from criminal activity. The amount of restitution will be determined later.
