BlockBeats news, on August 18, the latest analysis from app intelligence provider Appfigures shows that since its launch in May 2023, the ChatGPT iOS and Android apps have generated $2 billion in revenue globally. The analysis indicates that this figure is approximately 30 times that of ChatGPT's competitors (including Claude, Copilot, and Grok) in total mobile revenue.
Data shows that year-to-date, ChatGPT's mobile app has generated $1.35 billion in revenue, a 673% increase compared to the same period in 2024 (January to July), which had $174 million. The app's average monthly revenue is nearly $193 million, up from $25 million last year. (Jin Shi)
