Everything you need to know about Alpha Points on the Binance platform (Binance Alpha Points).

What are Binance Alpha Points?

It is an evaluation system developed by Binance to measure user activity in the Binance Alpha and Binance Wallet ecosystem, and is used to determine eligibility for participating in campaigns such as Token Generation Events (TGE) and Airdrop distributions for emerging projects.

1. What are Binance Alpha tokens?

• These are digital currencies highlighted in the Alpha section of the Binance platform.

• Represents projects in their early stages that show promising growth potential in the Web3 world.

• Listing in the spot market is not guaranteed, but some may be listed later.

2. Where can I check my Alpha Points?

• Open the Binance app and search for 'Alpha point' from the homepage.

• Or go to your personal account within the app and tap the [Alpha Points] section under 'Information'.

3. How are Alpha Points calculated?

Calculated daily through:

Firstly: Balance Points.

• It is calculated based on the value of your assets in dollars in the Spot account and Binance wallet.

• The classification is as follows:

◦ From $100 to less than $1,000: 1 point daily.

◦ From $1,000 to less than $10,000: 2 points daily.

◦ From $10,000 to less than $100,000: 3 points daily.

◦ From $100,000 and above: 4 points daily.

• Unsupported assets in Spot or Alpha, such as LSD tokens, are not counted.

Secondly: Volume Points.

• Calculated based on the value of your daily purchases of Alpha tokens:

◦ Purchase for $2 = 1 point.

◦ Purchase for $4 = 2 points.

◦ Purchase for $8 = 3 points.

◦ Purchase for $16 = 4 points.

◦ Purchase for $32 = 5 points.

◦ And for every doubled amount, you earn an additional point.

• Selling does not affect points; only purchases are counted.

4. How is the final total calculated?

• Total Alpha Points = Total daily points over the last 15 days (balance + trading volume).

5. Can the balance be split between sub-accounts to earn more points?

• No. Balances of sub-accounts are merged within the main account only, and no additional points are granted due to splitting.

6. What exchange rate is used to calculate the value?

• The equivalent dollar price (USD) at the time of purchase is adopted.

7. If I bought for $600 and then sold for $500, do I get points?

• Yes, the full purchase amount ($600) is counted towards points, even if sold later.

8. What’s new starting from May 13, 2025?

• The points consumption mechanism will be activated, where points will be deducted when:

◦ Participating in TGE events.

◦ Receiving Airdrops.
