I decided on a test trading strategy on the Binance platform, where I use low leverage (1x to 3x) to minimize risk and to actually test the platform in real-time.
My approach is simple:
I only trade with major cryptocurrencies, or strong altcoins.
I open positions with leverage of 1x, 2x, or at most 3x, never more, so that I can keep my trades under control and not worry about rapid liquidation of my account during significant price fluctuations.
I plan to enter a position only after confirming the trend or a breakthrough of an important price level, ideally after stronger volumes.
Once I reach a pre-determined profit in the range of 10–20% (with leverage corresponding to the multiple: e.g., 3x leverage and a price increase of 10% means a profit of 30%), I continuously take profits – either by setting a "take profit" order or manually closing the position.
At the same time, I always strictly use a "stop-loss" to protect the invested capital – if the market goes against me, I will close the trade at a loss of 10% (with 3x leverage, this corresponds to a 30% real loss).
I conduct the entire strategy with a smaller amount to familiarize myself well with the functionality of the platform, get acquainted with the fees, and verify that this method can indeed work in the long term.
This method allows me to safely test Binance, earn small but consistent profits thanks to low leverage exposure, and at the same time protect my money from unnecessarily large market fluctuations. If someone asks me for tips, I emphasize discipline, regularly taking profits, and using stop-losses – this is, in my opinion, the key to mastering trading and long-term satisfaction.
