Henan Provincial People's Congress: The Ministry of Public Security is currently studying and formulating regulations related to virtual currency, and local governments should not formulate them independently.

On August 17, news reported that the Henan Provincial People's Congress pointed out in the review result report of the "Henan Province Management Regulations on Case-Related Property (Draft)" that virtual currency has property attributes and belongs to case-related property, and this understanding has basically formed a consensus in judicial practice. However, our country has now fully prohibited virtual currency trading, and there are no legal trading platforms. Local governments are still in the exploratory stage regarding the disposal of case-related virtual currencies. The report also revealed that the Ministry of Public Security is studying and formulating relevant regulations, which are more suitable for unified norms at the national level, and local legislation should not independently stipulate them. $ETH
