PANews August 17 news, the Henan Provincial People's Congress pointed out in the report on the review results of the "Regulations on the Management of Property Involved in Criminal Cases in Henan Province (Draft)" that virtual currencies have property attributes and belong to property involved in criminal cases. This recognition has basically formed a consensus in judicial practice. However, China has currently comprehensively prohibited virtual currency trading, and there are no legal trading platforms. Local areas are still in the exploratory stage regarding the disposal of virtual currencies involved in criminal cases. The report also revealed that the Ministry of Public Security is studying and formulating relevant systems, which are more suitable to be uniformly regulated at the national level, and local legislation should not set its own provisions.
