According to research on digital asset disposal, the recent report on the review results of the 'Regulations on the Management of Seized Property in Henan Province (Draft)' was released by the Henan Provincial People's Congress. It indicates that virtual currency has property attributes and falls under seized property, with a basic consensus formed in judicial practice. However, virtual currency trading is completely prohibited in our country, and there are no legal trading platforms. The handling of virtual currency is still being explored in various regions. Currently, the Ministry of Public Security is studying and formulating relevant regulations on virtual currency. The management of this new type of seized property is more appropriate to be uniformly regulated at the national level, and local legislation should not make provisions.
