#中国投资者涌向印尼 Chinese Investors Flood into Indonesia

In recent years, Indonesia has become a popular destination for Chinese companies' overseas investment. In the first half of 2025, Chinese (including Hong Kong) investment in Indonesia reached $8.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%, primarily concentrated in the downstream industrial, new energy, and manufacturing sectors.

Driving Factors:

✅ Tariff Advantage: The U.S. imposes tariffs over 30% on Chinese goods, while Indonesia only has 19%, prompting Chinese companies to shift production capacity to maintain export competitiveness to the U.S.

✅ Market Potential: Indonesia is the largest economy in Southeast Asia, with Q2 GDP growth of 5.12%, and consumption accounting for over 50% of GDP, attracting Chinese capital to capture market share.

✅ Policy Support: Indonesia has launched the “Million Solar Plan” (100GW of solar energy + 320GWh of storage), with Chinese companies like CATL and LONGi already deeply involved in the solar storage industry chain.
