From 'On-chain Refugees' to 'Rollup Nomads', My ERA Fantasy Drift
I still remember the first time I interacted with DeFi on the Ethereum mainnet; the Gas fees were so high that I felt like I was crowdfunding a villa for miners. It wasn't until I encountered Caldera's ERA that I realized there is actually 'affordable housing' in the blockchain world — Rollup custom chains are like on-chain lofts, allowing you to experience a spacious apartment at a low cost. What shocked me the most was Metalayer, this 'universal socket', which surprisingly allows Optimistic Rollup and ZK-Rollup, two arch-nemeses, to coexist harmoniously like milk tea and pearls. Just last week, I was farming on Arbitrum, and this week, I seamlessly migrated my earnings to zkSync via Metalayer to engage in privacy trading; the whole process was as smooth as a fascia gun massaging the blockchain. However, I did have a funny incident during the newbie phase; during my first cross-chain transfer, I treated ERA as an ordinary Gas token, only to find out that this thing could actually be used to vote on protocol upgrades — I suddenly felt a magical sense of transforming from a tenant into a landlord. @Caldera Official #caldera $ERA
