@BitlayerLabs
Bitlayer Labs is currently developing quite steadily. In simple terms, it means "technology is upgrading, and there are more and more helpers around." There are two specific points that can be understood:
1. On the technology front: They are replacing the "basic version" with a "Bitcoin exclusive enhanced version." Previously, the project had a functioning mainnet (V1), and now they are working on a more advanced V2 version — the core idea is to thoroughly tie it to Bitcoin, allowing users to utilize Bitcoin's security (equivalent to storing assets in a more reliable "safe") while also supporting developers to create various applications (such as DApps similar to those on Ethereum). Currently, the beta version of V2 has already begun trial runs at the beginning of 2025, with plans to smoothly transition all users and data from the old version (V1) to the new version (V2) by mid-2025, without requiring extra effort from users.
2. In terms of ecology: There are already over a hundred "partners" coming on board.
There are now over 100 small applications (such as financial management and trading tools) that have settled in Bitlayer's ecosystem, allowing users to utilize various functions. Additionally, it has partnered with well-known platforms in the industry like Base and Arbitrum, effectively leveraging each other — Bitlayer can attract more developers and users, while the partners can expand their Bitcoin-related businesses, benefiting both parties.
