In an interview, Trump stated that an agreement could be reached in this meeting with Putin and estimated the risk of failure to be 25%. Trump also mentioned that the meeting on the 15th would lay the foundation for an agreement for a second meeting, and if issues are not resolved, sanctions will be implemented. Regarding border and territorial issues, he indicated that this would be a process of mutual concessions.
