In 1962, Frank Silk was on a train through Croatia when the train derailed and fell into a glacial river. 17 passengers died, but Frank miraculously survived, suffering a broken arm and spent a short time in the hospital.
The following year, he decided to fly for the first time. While he was in the air, the plane's door opened suddenly and he was pulled outside, landing in a haystack! While the plane crashed and all on board were killed, he survived again... with only minor bruises!
But luck (or the curse of life?) did not stop there:
In 1966, he was riding a bus when it slipped and fell into a river, four passengers died, and Frank swam to safety!
In 1970, his car suddenly broke down and caught fire, but he got out before it exploded.
In 1973, a fuel pump exploded in another car he was driving and burned most of his hair, but he survived!
In 1995, he was hit by a bus in Zagreb and only suffered minor injuries.
In 1996, he was driving his jeep when he tried to avoid a head-on truck, swerved toward a mountain barrier, and fell into the valley. But the seatbelt was not fastened, so he was thrown out of the window and landed on a tree, while the car crashed at the bottom!
After this series of miracles... everyone thought he was cursed or too lucky. But fate was not done with its surprises yet...
In 2003... after 40 years of struggles with death, he woke up on a sunny morning and decided to buy a lottery ticket, which turned out to be the ticket that changed his life. He won a million dollars, and then said:
"I think God was trying to test me, and when I proved that I deserved life, he rewarded me in the end."
But he did not live in luxury afterwards. He bought a small house, then donated most of his money to his family and friends, saying: "Money doesn't matter... the important thing is that I'm alive."
Frank Silk is a clear reminder to us that luck can come in many forms, some of which may seem catastrophic, but may ultimately lead to survival and victory.
And sometimes, the person who falls repeatedly is the same one who will finally rise... and maybe win the lottery! <<<<<
