Israel-Gaza Conflict: Worsening Humanitarian Crisis

The situation in Gaza is dire and continues to worsen. A recent series of Israeli strikes has tragically claimed the lives of at least 21 people since dawn, among them a 1.5-year-old child.

The humanitarian crisis is being compounded by damage to vital infrastructure. An Israeli strike on Gaza City has resulted in a hospital being flooded with sewage, which is a major health risk.

According to the UN, the number of children suffering from acute malnutrition is on the rise. In July alone, nearly 13,000 children were admitted to hospitals for treatment, a consequence of Israel's blockade and a persistent heatwave.

The ongoing conflict in Gaza continues to have a devastating impact on civilians, with children being the most vulnerable.
