Alt or not at all?🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 🔹 Is it altseason yet? Not really. Right now (Aug 2025), BTC dominance is still relatively high, and liquidity continues to flow first into BTC and then ETH. Altseason generally starts when: 1. BTC dominance drops sharply (money rotates out of BTC). 2. ETH/BTC pair strengthens (Ethereum outperforming BTC). 3. Mid-cap alts start rallying, then low-caps follow. If you don’t see those three conditions aligning, it’s not altseason yet—it’s just isolated pumps. --- 🔹 When could it come (if at all)? Historically, altseason tends to happen: After BTC has a strong rally, then consolidates → people start chasing higher ROI in alts. 6–12 months post-halving (we’re still in that zone). When ETH gains strength vs BTC (ETH/BTC breakout is usually the signal). So, the window for a true altseason is likely late 2025 – early 2026, unless macro or regulatory shocks delay it. --- 🔹 What happens to BTC during altseason? BTC usually stabilizes or slowly ranges down while alts pump. Bitcoin doesn’t crash; it just stops being the focus of speculation. Traders rotate profits from BTC → ETH → big caps → mid/small caps. So, BTC is like the “anchor” — it sets the stage, but during altseason, its dominance falls and it underperforms relative to alts. --- ✅ Summary: Not altseason yet. Signs to watch: BTC dominance dropping, ETH/BTC breakout, mid-cap rallies. Likely timeline: late 2025 into 2026.
