Next week, Ukraine will consider a draft law on crypto-assets
Next week, likely on August 19, 2025, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will hold the first reading of the draft law on crypto-assets. This was stated by the Chairman of the Committee on Financial, Tax, and Customs Policy Daniil Hetmantsev.
The said draft law represents the regulatory framework for crypto-assets. It introduces their classification, allocates the powers of regulators, and contains a mechanism for taxing capital gains from cryptocurrency transactions.
