Antropenko is accused of using Zeppelin ransomware to attack global targets. Data shows that in 2024, losses from cryptocurrency-related crimes in the United States reached $9.3 billion, a 66% increase year-on-year. The Justice Department's Cyber Crime Division stated that it has recovered a total of $350 million of victims' funds and prevented over $200 million in potential ransom payments.
