Galaxy Completes $1.4 Billion Financing to Support Helios AI Data Center Expansion
According to reports, Galaxy Digital has announced that it has completed a $1.4 billion financing plan aimed at supporting the expansion of the Helios data center campus located in Texas. This financing will be used for the renovation and expansion of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and HPC (High-Performance Computing) infrastructure in the first phase. Galaxy has provided $350 million of its own funds, with the remainder covered by debt financing. CoreWeave has signed a leasing agreement for the second phase, committing to utilize the full approved power capacity of 800MW at Helios, with expected average annual revenue exceeding $1 billion in the future. Galaxy's goal is to make Helios one of the largest AI data centers in the world.
