America is still considering "budget-neutral" ways to purchase bitcoin for its strategic reserve. This was stated by U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessen.
Earlier on FOX Business, he stated that the government "will not be buying bitcoin but will focus on using confiscated assets." This statement caused the market to drop by $55 billion in capitalization in just 40 minutes.
