MetaMask has partnered with Transak to add seamless fiat purchase options for Solana (SOL), Ethereum (ETH), and other top coins directly within its wallet. This marks MetaMask’s first native integration for Solana—moving beyond just Ethereum-based assets—and letting users buy SOL, ETH, and more with local currencies via debit/credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer, and other regional payment methods. Purchases are instantly funneled into users’ MetaMask wallets, eliminating the need for bridging or centralized exchanges. This cross-chain upgrade greatly simplifies onboarding and unlocks broader access to both EVM and Solana ecosystems, meeting Web3’s promise of maximum accessibility.
