This intrusion analysis report shows that the attackers obtained information that should have been protected for years. They executed the intrusion by stealing user credentials and exploiting security vulnerabilities in outdated servers of the federal judicial system, specifically targeting sealed records. Although the report does not clearly identify the attackers, investigators found evidence indicating that the hackers were supported by the Russian government.
