๐ PROVE Token
PROVE is the native utility token for the Succinct Prover Network, a decentralized platform that powers zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) in web3. It's built on Ethereum as an ERC-20 token.
What it does:
Payments: Requesters pay provers in PROVE for generating cryptographic proofs.
Staking: Provers stake PROVE as collateral, ensuring honestyโbad actors risk losing their stake.
Governance: Token holders vote on protocol upgrades, tokenomics, and network rules.
Why it matters:
This network targets a major bottleneck in blockchain developmentโcentralized proof generationโby enabling anyone to run proof nodes. That opens the field for privacy tools, bridge validation, Layer 2 scaling, smart contract audits, AI inference, and more.
Current state (as of mid-2025):
The project is in Stage 2.5 of its testnetโthe final stretch before mainnet launch.
It added Sybil-resistant staking and competitive auction mechanisms to prevent centralization.
Airdrops are planned for testnet participants.
Backed by $55 million in funding from Paradigm, Bankless Ventures, and Geometry Ventures.
In short, PROVE isnโt just another tokenโitโs the backbone of a decentralized, scalable zero-knowledge infrastructure thatโs getting ready for primetime.
