Today I want to mention their token$ERA (although I was too busy to participate in their event and missed out on a wave of rewards, so frustrating!!😠). I still remember it got listed on three exchanges in one day (of course Binance is the best🐂 haha🤣), that's quite impressive. Stake ERA, hold ERA, and you can receive extra rewards, plus have a chance to get airdrops from Caldera partners, having multiple tokens is so enticing, oh my 😼
The 'Rollup partner' on Ethereum is impressive because it does not favor any framework, whether it's zero-knowledge Rollup or something else, it can handle it all clearly. The best part is the 'Metalayer', which is like creating a shared group for various Rollups, allowing cross-chain interactions and resource sharing, no longer having to play separately like before.
Let's talk about Caldera's new stuff, they just released a Caldera Bridge Preview, sounds very practical! If you're interested, you can go check it out~
Let me briefly explain: this is the first consumer-grade product based on Metalayer (highlight this ✅: the first one!). And it is supported by ERA. In simple terms, it's a 'smart bridging aggregator', allowing easy transfers between the Caldera ecosystem and large liquidity centers, simplifying cross-chain transactions without unnecessary detours, super convenient to use 🤪.
I previously thought they developed Metalayer to connect various Rollups, and now it seems to be coming to fruition step by step. From enabling different Rollups to communicate to now directly creating a bridge for user operations, this rhythm is quite good. The utility of ERA is also becoming more practical, and this ecosystem is indeed being gradually built.
And I heard that their team is recently exploring support for new virtual machines, in the future, even game and social DApps might be able to customize their own chains more conveniently without being tied down by fixed frameworks. The use of ERA tokens will probably increase, and maybe staking will also yield extra rewards (but we still need to wait for updates).
It feels like they are not here to take a piece of the cake, but to make the cake bigger. After all, no matter how hot Layer2 is, fighting alone doesn't go far.
Now Layer2 is too fragmented, Caldera's new idea is actually like building a bridge for everyone to communicate, preserving Ethereum's security while allowing projects to customize their needs, which is quite practical.#Caldera @Caldera Official
