Let's review the trading over the past six days since the account was created.
There wasn't much to say in the first three days. On the 8th, I started trading contracts, switching back and forth between long and short positions on Soon, making quite a bit. Each trade earned me around 700 to 800 USDT, growing my initial capital from 1535 USDT to 7700 USDT.
However, the day before yesterday, after opening a lead position, my market sense suddenly deteriorated. I chose to go short during Ethereum's strongest upward phase. When I woke up after one night, I hit my stop loss, losing over 2000 USDT.
Yesterday morning, after waking up and not having a clear view of the market situation, I stubbornly went short, firmly believing that Ethereum was about to see a significant correction. I directly went heavily short.
Half an hour later, the short position had a floating profit of 3000 USDT, having recovered the losses from last night. But at that moment, my thought was that I had definitely chosen the right direction for this short, and I had to hold on to the short position tightly, otherwise, I would miss out on huge profits. So I decided to hold the short position firmly.
Not long after, Ethereum made a V-shaped reversal, climbing to 4700 and hitting a new high, and I was liquidated, with my account balance dropping from over 8000 USDT to zero.
After feeling miserable for a little over half a day, I spent a lot of time reflecting on what I did wrong. The final answer I came to was greed and an unwillingness to admit mistakes.
Once I organized my thoughts, I recharged 2800 USDT last night, bringing my total capital to 4300 USDT.
Last night, I had two long positions in Ethereum, and today I took one short position in Sol and one reverse long position. After the market dropped in the evening, I bottom-fished Ethereum with two long positions, allowing me to grow from 2800 USDT to 11600 USDT, achieving a complete victory without any drawdown.
Over 10,000 USDT is not much, and a few thousand USDT in profit isn't that significant either, but what makes me happy is that after the liquidation yesterday, I managed to adjust my mindset and get back up. If it were the old me, I might have continued to aggressively increase my short position, leading to repeated liquidations. But this time, I was able to reflect on myself in a timely manner, correct my mistakes, and move with the market conditions, which is what makes me the happiest.
An unprecedented change has occurred, and I'm very glad. This change allows me to turn two to three thousand USDT into over ten thousand USDT within 24 hours without any drawdown, and it enables me to continue growing stronger in the future.
I hope to reach even higher levels.
Let’s encourage each other.
