Interest in altcoins on Google has reached a peak not seen since 2021, while searches for Ethereum have hit a two-year high. The increase coincided with the activation of applications for the launch of altcoin-related ETFs and the expansion of corporate strategies beyond Bitcoin.
In the first half of 2025, at least 31 applications for the launch of ETFs were submitted in the USA. Companies are increasingly adding Ether, Solana, and Chainlink to their reserves, often staking them for income.
Analysts link this trend to institutional interest, the development of DeFi, and new opportunities for including altcoins in corporate treasuries and investment products.
