Operating a node on the Lightning Network can generate small routing fees. You provide liquidity in the channels and, when others use your route, you earn satoshis. It sounds attractive, but it requires technical knowledge, constant monitoring, and some initial capital. Fees are low; do not expect to get rich quickly. Only Bitcoin is truly decentralized; by running a node, you strengthen the network. Don't trust, verify tutorials and start small.
