Token distribution and governance
• The total supply of GTC is 100 million tokens distributed as follows:
• 15% as an airdrop for previous users from the rewards program.
• 35% for core contributors such as the founding team, investors, and partners, subject to a vesting schedule.
• 50% allocated to the Gitcoin DAO fund managed by the community and released gradually.
• The governance system is designed to gradually transfer power to the community. Elected stewards participate in managing the platform and guiding policies.
