#ETH Two Companies Battle for Billions Worth of Ethereum

BitMine wants to raise $24.5 billion for more ETH, while SharpLink just closed a $389 million round.

BitMine already holds $5 billion worth of ETH, making them the world's largest corporate holder. SharpLink sits in second place with $2.6 billion.

Ethereum has climbed over 21% this week, trading just below its 2021 highs. 

BitMine Immersion Technology filed for a massive $24.5 billion at-the-market stock offering to acquire more Ether tokens for its treasury.

SharpLink Gaming completed a $389 million capital raise from institutional investors with proceeds earmarked for Ethereum purchases.

BitMine currently holds 1.2 Million Ether worth $5 billion, making it the world's largest corporate Ethereum holder.

SharpLink follows with 598,000 tokens valued at $2.64 billion after raising $1.4 billion in total gross proceeds to date.

Ether price gained 21% this week to trade at $4,408, sitting just 9% below its November 2021 all-time high.

Standard Chartered predicts Ethereum treasury firms could control up to 10% of total supply long-term, up from current 1% holdings.

The corporate buying spree mirrors MicroStrategy's Bitcoin accumulation strategy but focuses on Ethereum's broader utility and staking rewards.
