Is WalletConnect still “just a QR code,” or is it becoming the switchboard of onchain UX?

V3/vNext direction looks bigger: multi-chain sessions, intent-style flows, and the WCT token to secure/stake the network. That’s not a widget—it’s neutral coordination between wallets, apps, and users.

The upside is obvious: fewer broken connects, richer session semantics, and a dev surface where payments/messaging don’t feel like duct tape.

The governance risk is real too: if the network ossifies or misprices incentives, builders route around it. But if it stays credibly neutral and fast, WC is the boring backbone we need—one handshake to rule them all. #WalletConnect @WalletConnect $WCT
