The new nominees include Jefferies' Chief Market Strategist David Zervos, former Federal Reserve Governor Larry Lindsey, and BlackRock's Chief Investment Officer for Global Fixed Income Rick Rieder, as well as current Federal Reserve officials such as Bowman, Waller, and Jefferson. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent will be responsible for interviewing and screening the final list. Officials stated that the decision-making timeline has not yet been determined, but the process is expected to take a considerable amount of time.
