Ethereum could rise to $8500 following Bitcoin.
The crypto trader under the pseudonym Yashasedu predicts that $ETH has the potential to reach the mark of $8500 if Bitcoin surpasses the level of $150,000. According to him, in previous phases of market growth, the capitalization of ETH consistently accounted for 30–35% of Bitcoin's capitalization, and in 2021 this figure reached 36%.
The analyst also points to the positive dynamics in the Ethereum ecosystem: the total value locked (TVL) in the network has exceeded $90 billion. This has been made possible due to active investments from public companies and a steady influx of funds into Ethereum-ETF.
If Bitcoin reaches $150,000, then maintaining the current market capitalization ratio, Ethereum could rise to $8656. Even under a more conservative scenario, where the share of $ETH accounts for 21.7–30% of the BTC market, the altcoin price could rise to $5376–7420.
