🇵🇰 Pakistan to Pilot First Digital Rupee in 2025
The State Bank of Pakistan, in collaboration with Japan’s Soramitsu and funded by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade & Industry, will launch a pilot Central Bank Digital Currency later this year. The project aims to enhance payment speed, expand financial inclusion, and improve economic efficiency.
