Huma Finance: Deep Dive into the PayFi Network
Huma Finance is a blockchain-powered Payment Financing (PayFi) protocol built to provide fast, on-chain liquidity for global payment systems. It aims to eliminate traditional inefficiencies—like slow cross-border payments and costly pre-funding—by tokenizing receivables and settling transactions in stablecoins.
As the first network dedicated to PayFi, Huma offers instant settlement financing and structured credit lines for scenarios such as international transfers, corporate card programs, and trade finance. Running on high-speed blockchain infrastructure, it primarily uses USDC for settlement and leverages audited smart contracts, allowing lenders to earn stable, double-digit yields from transaction fees rather than volatile rewards. Its core mission is to “speed up the movement of money” by directly connecting borrowers and lenders on-chain, enabling income-based DeFi credit for businesses and individuals globally.
