BlockBeats news, on August 13, U.S. Treasury Secretary Becent stated during an interview with Fox Business Channel on Tuesday that as tariff revenue continues to flow into the U.S. treasury, if lower court tariff lawsuits are ultimately appealed to the Supreme Court, the growing fiscal revenue will make it difficult for the Supreme Court to make rulings unfavorable to the Trump administration.

Becent said: 'The more tax revenue there is, the harder it will be for the Supreme Court to make unfavorable rulings against us.' This statement is in response to a case currently being heard by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. The case questions the legality of Trump’s so-called 'reciprocal' tariffs, as well as another set of tariffs imposed on Canada, Mexico, and China in February of this year. (Jin Shi)
