Circle announced big news last night, that it will create a dedicated blockchain for USDC called Arc Network! The biggest highlight is that USDC can also be used for gas fees now, and the public testnet is expected to launch this fall.
Other stablecoin projects like Stable Protocol, Plasma, and Converge are still in the works, and this year can really be said to be dominated by stablecoins in the market!
