“DeFi Gets Graded” refers to a risk-assessment tool known as the **DeFi Pulse Economic Safety Grade**, created in partnership with Gauntlet. It evaluates DeFi protocols on objective metrics—such as collateral volatility, liquidity, user behaviour, protocol parameters, and smart contract risk—and assigns them a numeric score ranging from 1 to 100. For example, **Aave** earned a grade of **95** (“very safe”) while **Compound** received **91** (“very safe”). The aim is to empower users with clearer insight into protocol insolvency risks and overall safety, helping them make more informed decisions amidst a fast-evolving—and sometimes risky—DeFi landscape
