#ETH #BTC #ADA #Aave Aava hit multiple all-time highs this week amid a hot crypto market. On Aug. 15, cumulative deposits reached $3 trillion, while active loans surpassed $29 billion on Aug. 13. Its total value locked (TVL) climbed above $40 billion on Aug. 14. DeFi lending now manages $75.3 billion across 540 protocols, making it the second-largest DeFi category after liquid staking ($81B). Aave dominates with 66.7% market share, nearly six times larger than Morpho ($6.3B). Its TVL rose 25.7% and active loans grew 38% in the past month, placing it among the top 41 US-chartered banks by deposits. The AAVE token surged 138% from its April 2025 bottom. Founder Stani Kulechov projects $100B in net deposits by year-end, ranking Aave alongside the worldโs 35 largest banks. Growth is driven by institutional adoption, including Nasdaq-listed BTCS and $6.4B from Ethenaโs USDe stablecoin.
