Do Kwon Pleads Guilty, Faces Up to 25 Years in Prison
Terra founder #DoKwon has pleaded guilty to charges brought by the U.S. government, which is now seeking a prison sentence of no more than 12 years significantly lower than the penalty given to FTX’s Sam Bankman-Fried.
Under the plea deal, Kwon could face a maximum of 25 years behind bars, a sentence he can not appeal to. Following his prison term, he will be deported.
Additionally, the Terra $LUNA founder has been ordered to pay over $19 million in financial penalties.
