$WCT : Making every 'connection' action valuable
You may not realize: in Web3, 'connecting a wallet' is as frequent as 'scrolling through short videos'—but the value of the former has always been overlooked. @walletconnect simplifies 'connections' through a protocol, and now, $WCT wants to turn these 'connection' actions into your assets.
#WalletConnect
As the 'intermediary' of Web3, @walletconnect is focused on 'standardization.' Different public chains, different wallets, different DApps originally had their own 'languages of communication,' but #WalletConnect established a set of 'universal grammar,' enabling over 700 wallets and 65,000+ DApps to communicate smoothly. Behind the 300 million connections with zero security incidents is the hard work of end-to-end encryption and cross-chain adaptation—it transforms 'connections' from a 'technical challenge' into a 'basic service.'
Now, WCT wants to add a 'value layer' to this 'basic service.' Staking WCT allows participation in network maintenance, validating connection requests, and earning protocol revenue; the community can vote on protocol upgrade directions using WCT, such as whether to support newly released smart wallets; in the future, every time you use @WalletConnect to connect an application, the system will track 'connection counts,' and after accumulating a certain amount, you can exchange it for WCT. It turns out that every time you hit 'confirm connection,' you are actually accumulating 'points' for the ecosystem, and now those points can be exchanged for real benefits.
#WalletConnect
It aims to make the 'right to connect' in Web3 belong to everyone. The #WalletConnect protocol is open-source and free, and $WCT allows users to become beneficiaries. When 'connections' are no longer just a function but accumulable value, the interoperability of Web3 can finally be considered truly grounded.
