Why is it that Ethereum ultimately bears the blame while SOL can take it in stride!
Mainly because of the differences in market mentality and perception.
As the big brother, $ETH has high expectations from everyone. When it remains stagnant, it's hard for people not to complain because it 'should' be leading the market to strengthen; whereas $SOL , although it has dropped significantly, is after all a newcomer, and many people were mentally prepared for it. Anyway, it has always been volatile, so when it gets stuck, people are more accustomed to 'accepting fate'.
Another point is that ETH has a large ecosystem and various positive news behind it, so people pay more attention to its performance; while SOL has a lot of retail investors who entered late, so their voices are naturally much smaller. In short, it's 'the greater the expectation, the greater the disappointment', which is also the norm in cryptocurrency trading.
