🎯 How I Define My Goals Before Entering an Investment
In crypto, it's easy to get carried away by the excitement of the moment... but if you enter without a clear objective, it's like going sailing without a compass: you might end up anywhere.
Here's how I define my goals before putting a single dollar at stake:
1️⃣ I define the investment timeframe
Before buying, I ask myself: is it a short, medium, or long-term bet?
• If it's short-term, I look for volatility and quick liquidity.
• If it's long-term, I focus on solid projects like $BTC , $ETH , or $SOL .
2️⃣ I set an exit price (and I stick to it)
I don't invest thinking only about "up and we'll see."
• I establish a selling target and a stop loss to avoid having my emotions work against me.
3️⃣ I evaluate the risk I can tolerate
Not all investments weigh the same.
• If it's a new altcoin, I allocate a small % of my capital.
• If it's a consolidated project, I can risk more.
4️⃣ I analyze the impact on my portfolio
I don't add a crypto just because it's "trending." I see if it balances my portfolio or if it exposes me too much to a specific sector.
💡 Conclusion:
Investing without goals is like betting without a strategy. Defining them not only gives you clarity but also protects you from impulsive decisions and unnecessary losses.
📌 Do you also set rules before entering, or do you rely more on instinct? I look forward to reading your comments.
