🙃 The swings with BestChange continue: the aggregator of cryptocurrency exchanges has been unblocked again
Russian authorities have unblocked the BestChange website. The Bank of Russia made this decision several months after the regulators restricted access to the platform and forced BestChange to remove some features for residents of Russia.

The online aggregator of cryptocurrency exchanges BestChange will again be available to Russian users, the admins announced on the official account on X, referring to a letter from the Central Bank of Russia.
The decision to unblock was initiated by the Information Security Department of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, almost four months after Roskomnadzor instructed Russian internet service providers to block the site and all its domains.
This was not the first case of the platform's closure. The authorities of the Russian Federation have already blocked BestChange several times — in 2017, 2019, and 2020. In February of this year, BestChange was even briefly added to the blacklist of Roskomnadzor.
👨🏻⚖️ The lawyers of the BestChange platform won. In all these cases, the company's lawyers successfully fought and ultimately achieved the lifting of the ban. The letter from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation about lifting the last ban was in response to an appeal made by the regulator after some changes were made to the content displayed in Russia to address the bank's concerns.
🚫 "For the complete unlocking of the online portal, it was necessary to restrict access for Russian users to some records that may be flagged by the Bank of Russia as representing illegal banking activities," explained Nikita Zuborev, a senior analyst at BestChange.
🏦 The Central Bank of the Russian Federation pointed out to the aggregator the need to remove information about buying and selling foreign currency for Russian rubles. Also about pairs with two foreign payment systems and currencies such as Alipay, and bank accounts in fiat currencies of other countries, for example, in Kazakh tenge.
🤝 Zuborev noted that fulfilling this requirement delayed the unlocking of the site. On Wednesday, the Central Bank informed BestChange that it was satisfied with the corrections to its comments and would soon begin restoring access to the site.
