Chainlink has partnered with Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), to integrate forex and precious metals price data directly onto blockchain networks.

⚪ ICE Consolidated Feed data, which aggregates information from over 300 exchanges and markets worldwide, has been added to Chainlink Data Streams, supporting over 2000 applications on-chain, as well as financial institutions and infrastructure providers.

⚪ This partnership aims to provide accurate and reliable price feeds that meet traditional financial market standards, supporting the development of tokenized digital assets, automated settlement systems, and enterprise-level blockchain applications.

⚪ This step is part of a broader trend to connect blockchain systems with traditional financial instruments, especially as major banks and asset managers increasingly move towards tokenizing real-world assets such as bonds, commodities, and investment funds.

📢 As stated by Morissa Bowman, Vice President of Global Data Delivery at ICE:

"The collaboration with Chainlink provides reliable and organized data from multiple asset classes for traditional markets, which is a key step towards the growth of the blockchain economy."

In a statement, Fernando Vazquez, Head of Capital Markets at Chainlink Labs, said:

"This collaboration represents a pivotal shift towards a unified and globally accessible financial system on-chain, setting hundreds of trillions of assets on a clear path towards tokenization."
