Bitcoin’s Hashrate Hits Record High! 🚀

The Bitcoin network recently achieved a historic milestone in computational power. On April 4, 2025, Bitcoin’s hashrate soared to an all-time high of approximately 1.1 Zetahashes per second (1,105 EH/s), marking the strongest level of network security ever recorded. This peak was observed at block height 890,915 and confirmed by multiple sources, including Mempool.space, which also noted a spike of 1.025 ZH/s the following day.

After this record, the 30-day moving average settled around 0.845 ZH/s, reflecting some short-term volatility. Earlier in 2025, the network had already set new benchmarks, with February’s 7-day average reaching 833 EH/s and another surge to 946 EH/s in June. However, the April spike stands out as the definitive high point for Bitcoin’s hashrate.

This achievement highlights the growing strength and security of the Bitcoin network, making it more resilient than ever. As more miners join and technology advances, Bitcoin’s foundation continues to get stronger—benefiting the entire ecosystem.
